I know we haven’t got a release of the week since we removed the downloads but this one is trully brilliant. I think you all know DRN, the man behind the great “World in Beats” a radioshow made exclusive for this blog. DRN sent me last night his second compilation after the much admired “Journey Into Sunshine“.
DRN sent me last night this wonderful compilation he did, but I wanted to listen to it first before I posted not that I doubted the man but in order for me to express my feelings better about it I just had to preview it, right? So, I burned it on a DVD and enjoyed it on my road to Bucharest and what a journey it was, again this guy amazed me, and I’m not saying this just because we are firends but this compilation is truly billiant, he proved to me once again that he is more than a simple DJ that plays the latest choones, he is an artist, creating two wonderful mixes, with tracks very attentively selected and combined to create the ultimate exprience. I always said that what makes a DJ great is playing tracks that you know or don’t know, that you hate or love in such a manner that you enjoy them all, creating a unique and wonderful set and he has accomplished that in his radioshow and with both these compilations.
Dear DRN, I know that you were a bit dissapointed by your gig because ofthe crowd and some imposed rules but here you really showed us what you can do and really expressed yourself and don’t worry people that come here love trance and I’m absolutely positive they will love “Departures”.
Guys this man has put alot of work in this compilation, trust me he has been working on it for some time, if you like it or even if you don’t like it it would be nice to reword DRN’s effort with a comment or a rating, DRN and the others that post their tracks and mixes here do this for the love of music not for money the single reward that they want is to see the reaction of the crowd, the pozitive and negative reviews this will not only boost their morale and encourage them to progress but also correct their mistakes and make them wanting to get better and better.
Drean DRN, my friend, thank you for all that you have done for this blog and thank you for the wonderful music. I hope you keep it up and this will be the second one from a long line of releases.

It was a nice party, although people are not really into trance music over here it was quite difficult to catch their attention.
